Join the Board
Nominations for the 2023-24 school year board are open through Wednesday, May 3. Submit a brief letter of interest to [email protected] that includes the role name, your qualifications, and why you are interested in the position. Each spring, we conduct a nomination and board election cycle to fill up to 9 roles on our PTO board.
Elections are scheduled for Thursday, May 18. More information is available about the roles and nominating process. For complete job descriptions and details about the organization, check out the PTO By Laws. Volunteer The PTO sponsors 6-8 events each year, and we always need a helping hand! The best way to let us know you're interested in pitching in is to join our mailing list and indicate on the form what type of volunteering you're interested in. We'll add you to our list and reach out when a matching opportunity comes up. Sign up now Donate The PTO accepts donations year round! Your contributions go toward annual projects, events, teacher support, student nutrition, and more. See what's needed Free & Low Cost Ways to Support Us Spirit Nights Our volunteers work throughout the year to plan Spirit Nights, during which a generous local restaurant donates a percentage of their sales to the PTO. Check the calendar AmazonSmile If you're a big Amazon shopper, this is a simple way to support the PTO! The Smile program donates 0.05% of your purchases back to the charity of your choice. How: In your Smile account, select or change your charity, and search for 'Midvale PTO.' Go to smile.amazon.com Kroger Community Rewards Do you shop at Kroger? You can add Midvale Elementary School as your Community Rewards charity. Rather than donating a percentage of your process, KCR operates on a point system. Each quarter, points are pooled and Kroger contributes an amount proportionate to the number of points your charity received.
